Solo Voice
If you would like to book solo voice and arrange an accompanist for the wedding day yourself (such as the resident organist, a family friend who is a musician, a recommendation of a local musician etc) this is no problem at all.
There is also the option of booking solo voice and backing tracks - this is perfect if you are keeping to a strict budget and are happy with the song choices on my 'A Capella Voice and Backing Track' list of Repertoire'. Soprano Voice with Piano Accompaniment
This is the perfect traditional wedding Package! If you are getting married in a church that boasts a good pipe organ, this is probably the best option for you. If not, one of my pianists can provide their own digital piano! The repertoire best suited to this package are classical and religious songs such as Ave Maria, On Eagles Wings, She moved through the Fair and Nella Fantasia and many, many more. Soprano Voice with Harp Accompaniment
This is a very popular choice for weddings from both a musical and a visual point of view!
All of the harpists I work with play Concert Harp which is beautiful instrument that can be heard right through the church. Some photographers even use the harp as a feature in the wedding photographs! This package is best suited to Irish, classical and modern pieces such as Ag Criost an Siol, Fields of Gold, Carolan's Concerto, Fanny Power, Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, Feels like home and The First time ever I saw your face. Soprano Voice and String Quartet Accompaniment
A string quartet sounds really beautiful in a church setting and is a particularly suitable accompaniment to a classical voice. If you enjoy classical music, both instrumental and vocal, this is the package for
you! Some repertoire suggestions are Air on the G String, Ave Maria, Laudate Dominum, I'll walk beside you and Pachelbel's Canon to mention but a few! Price: 950 euro String Trio and Voice: 800 euro (a string trio is a good alternative to a string quartet as it cuts down on the cost and still creates that 'romantic strings' ambiance at your wedding. Vocal Harmony
Another singer, either male or female can be added to any of the above packages for an additional fee. Such songs as The Flower Duet, Barcarolle, The Prayer, All I Ask of You, Amigos Para Siempre, Nella Fantasia and Time to Say Goodbye sound particularly well with two voices singing in harmony. A recent popular request in Elbow's One Day Like This which sounds fantastic with two singers!
You can choose to have either two female singers creating a serene atmosphere (think Celtic Woman or The Vard Sisters!) or a female and male duo for a memorabe and powerful performance (think Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman!)
